Krakow honouring the victims of the Munich gunman attack

“I was deeply moved and shocked learning about what happened in Munich. I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and German citizens” wrote Jacek Majchrowski, Mayor of Krakow.      

German flag with black mourning ribbon hung at Krakow Town Hall building from Saturday, 23 July to Sunday 24th July as Krakow was demonstrating solidarity with German Nation.

On Friday afternoon an 18-year-old man with dual German and Iranian nationality killed 9 people and wounded 35 in the shooting attack in Munich. Children and adolescents were among the victims.
