Final farewell to George H.W. Bush

George Helbert Walker Bush, 41st President of the United States, died on November 30th, 2018. He was 94.

Thousands of current and former politicians gathered to pay a final tribute to former President George H.W. Bush at a state funeral service on Decemebr 5th at the National Cathedral in Washington.

George Helbert Walker Bush urodził się 12 kwietnia 1924 roku w Milton, w stanie Massachusetts. He was a Republican politician and an oil businessman. He served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. His wife Barbara passed away eight months before. One of his sons - George Walter Bush - also became US president.

Mayor of Kraków Jacek Majchrowski signed condolence book for George H.W. Bush at the U.S. Consulate in Kraków.

On July 20th, 1995 at an extraordinary session of the Kraków City Hall the former U.S. president was granted honorary citizenship of the Royal Capital City of Kraków.
