Spectacular views and pierogi. The Ambassador of the USA visits Krakow

On February 5th 2013, Stephen Mull Ambassador of the United States of America, accompanied by Consul General Ellen Germain, paid his first official visit to the Mayor of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski.

Ambassador Mull, who already filled various diplomatic posts in Poland in the1980’s and 90’s, expressed his appreciation for Mayor’s achievements and praise for the spirit of progress present in the city.

During his visit to Krakow, the Ambassador visited the city’s major sights. He climbed the taller of St. Mary’s Basilica’s two towers to enjoy the unique panorama and visited ‘U Stasi’ - one of Krakow’s most popular diners - to have some pierogi in the company of the establishment’s many Krakovian clients.

Sthephen Mull is one of the most visible ambassadors currently serving in Poland. He is happy to meet youngsters and is an active user of Twitter. During his stay in Krakow, the Ambassador met the students of no. 5 Comprehensive High School to tell them about the most important aspects of Polish-American cooperation.
