3rd Cosmology School took place in Krakow
On 10 - 23 July 2017 the 3rd International Cosmology School “Introduction to Cosmology” was held in Kraków. The goal of the school was to present the basics of modern cosmology, both theoretical and observational. The plan contained lectures by most distinguished world specialists and computer workshops. The invitation was addressed mainly to students and PhD students, but also to young researchers interested in the field.

Third Cosmology School is the third edition of a very popular international Cosmology School. For the first time the School took place in Kraków. Aside from the possibility of integration of young physicists and astronomers from Poland and the whole world, the School was an opportunity for personal contact with special guests (i.e., from France, Italy, Germany and Japan), who are some of the most distinguished authorities in their fields.
The organizers are: Astronomical Observatory of the Jagiellonian University (OAUJ), Polish Astronomical Society (PTA), National Center for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (UJK), under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University, prof. Wojciech Nowak and the Mayor of Kraków, prof. Jacek Majchrowski.
