Cracow Translation Days
Cracow Translation Days will be held from 6th until 8th September in the Benedictine Abbey of Tyniec. It is an international conference addressed to translators and organized under honorary auspices of Mayor of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski.
Cracow Translation Days (www.cracow-translation-days-2013.com) follow the tradition of several translation conferences (including RuhrKO 2010), previously held in Dortmund. Organizers – Ralf Lemster Financial Translations GmbH and TransDocu – tried to find an exceptional location which, besides serving all conference purposes, would also boast unusual cultural qualities. The Tyniec abbey, located near Krakow, will certainly create a unique atmosphere for the conference participants.
The conference held in English is addressed to international translators and the program includes discussions and translation workshops. All the proceeds will go to Krakow children's charity organizations: St Lazarus Hospice and Rupert Mayer Foundation "Helping Children".
