Foreign media about the fight against air pollution in Krakow

It is not only Polish media that write about fight against smog in our city. More and more foreign journalists, among others from US, Switzerland, Japan or Italy, are interested in Krakow's programmes aimed at tackling air pollution.

In the last few months: „Bloomberg”, British „Monocle” and „Thomson Reuters Foundation”, „Deutsche Journalistenschule”, Swiss „Le Temps”, Japanese FUJI TV, „Neue Zürcher Zeitung” from Austria, TV CBC from Canada and Italian public television RAI informed about Krakow's fight against smog as it is a problem faced also by other cities in the world.

Krakow as the first city in Poland took real actions to improve air quality. The strategic approach brought substantial results. Over 45,000 domestic stoves have been taken out since 1995. Last year a ban on the use of solid fuels was introduced.
