Krakow shows solidarity with Italy

On March 26, in solidarity with the Italian Nation, the Tauron Arena Krakow, the ICE Congress Centre and the Father Bernatek`s Footbridge will shone in the colours of the Italian “Il Tricolore” flag.

The Italians are going through dramatic moments fighting the tragic, unprecedented wave of COVID-19 spread. The coronavirus has already claimed lives of thousands of Italians. The scale of the drama faced by Italy has been recently summed up by Giorgio Gori, Mayor of Bergamo, who in his interview for “La Stampa” said that in his city the whole generation was lost to the disease. The Italians, however, do not give up. All over the world the media report how the Italian people hearten others by moving “balcony concerts” given in the conditions of the necessary home quarantine.

Krakow unites with the Italian Nation in deep sympathy but also in great hope for overcoming the coronavirus pandemic.
