The Queen's Official Birthday and Platinum Jubilee

Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II was born on 21 April 1926. The British monarch usually spends her actual birthday with her family. The official celebration, broadcasted live on the BBC, takes place in June.

A spectacular Queen’s Birthday Parade, called Trooping the Colour, that traditionally marks official birthday of the British monarch is usually organized on the second Saturday of June. This year it will take place on Thursday, 2 June. Trooping the Colour in 2022 will be exceptional due to the fact that Her Majesty The Queen celebrates her Platinum Jubilee. Communities and people throughout the United Kingdom will come together to celebrate this historic event.
