St Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s national day, is celebrated on 17 March.

St Patrick’s Day is a global event, with many celebratory events and initiatives taking place all over the world. Green can be seen everywhere on 17 March. Both Irish and other people around the globe willing to honour this beautiful Irish tradition wear green as this colour is traditionally associated with the “Emerald Island” and its patron St Patrick.
