Prime Minister of Hungary Visits Kraków
On 19 May, Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar visited Kraków. The programme of the visit included, among other events, a tour of Wawel Cathedral and meetings with the Mayor of Kraków, Aleksander Miszalski, and the Metropolitan Archbishop of Kraków, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś.
Peter Magyar, together with his delegation, visited Wawel Cathedral and met with the Mayor of Kraków and the Metropolitan Archbishop of Kraków.
The Hungarian delegation also paid tribute to Polish and Hungarian heroes by laying wreaths at the monument to Saint John Paul II in front of the cathedral, at Saint Jadwiga’s Cross, and at the tomb of King Stephen Báthory.
The visit to Kraków was the first official foreign trip of Hungary’s new Prime Minister. Peter Magyar was also visiting Warsaw and Gdańsk.
