Join the Mayor of Kraków in supporting WOŚP – one-of-a-kind charity auctions await!
Once again, Kraków is joining the nationwide Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) campaign, supporting this year’s goal: helping children with diseases of the digestive system. Mayor Aleksander Miszalski invites everyone to take part in special charity auctions that combine the idea of helping others with the city’s symbols and exceptional experiences.
The 34th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) will take place on Sunday, 25 January. This year’s motto, “For the Healthy Tummies of Our Children,” highlights that the funds raised will be allocated to the treatment and diagnostics of the youngest patients. As every year, Kraków and its municipal units are actively involved—organizing collections and charity auctions. The main Kraków WOŚP headquarters will operate at the City Hall for the fifth consecutive year, this time under number #1099.
A Wedding at Wawel, a Bike Ride Through Kraków, Monopoly: Kraków edition signed by the Mayor
Mayor of Kraków Aleksander Miszalski is also joining the nationwide celebration of helping others by donating for auction three unique experiences: a wedding ceremony at Wawel, a bike ride around Kraków, and a Monopoly game with a personal dedication.
One of the most extraordinary auctions offers the opportunity to hold a civil wedding ceremony at Wawel, in the royal setting of one of the most important sites in Polish history. The ceremony, officiated by the Mayor of Kraków, is a proposal for couples dreaming of a truly exceptional wedding amid historic gardens and centuries-old walls. The auction was prepared in cooperation with the management of the Wawel Royal Castle.

Fans of an active lifestyle can bid on a bike ride with the Mayor. The auction winner (with one guest) will be invited for a coffee at City Hall and then set off on a several-kilometre route through the city—chosen by the Mayor himself. It’s a great opportunity to talk about Kraków, urban mobility, and everyday life in the city.

Also up for auction is a limited-edition copy of Monopoly Kraków with a personal dedication from the Mayor. This special edition is devoted to Kraków’s districts, landmarks, and modern urban spaces, and includes a unique game element. Kraków and WOŚP – A Shared Record of Support
During the 33rd WOŚP Finale, the activities of the City Hall WOŚP HQ raised PLN 1,953,713, while the total amount collected across Kraków reached PLN 4,571,735. The nationwide total amounted to PLN 289,068,047.77, demonstrating the tremendous power of collective action.
