The first-ever Bloomberg LSE European City Leadership Initiative will equip Kraków with the capabilities to tackle local challenges, marshal new solutions, and deliver results. Kraków Mayor has been selected to join the inaugural class of the Bloomberg LSE European City Leadership Initiative, the first-ever professional leadership and management program designed specifically for the region’s mayors and municipal officials.

On 18 September, at the Museum of Kraków, Mayor Aleksander Miszalski met with Piotr Serafin, European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud, and Public Administration. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the results of EU investments in Kraków and to discuss future challenges, including the proposal for a new multiannual EU budget.

On September 8, 2025 Mayor Aleksander Miszalski met with Gretchen McKeever Cureton, the recently appointed U.S. Consul General in Kraków. This was her first, courtesy visit to the City Hall. 

On 25 September, at the Multicultural Center in Zabłocie, the Mayor of Kraków, Aleksander Miszalski, met with foreign residents of the city and representatives of organizations supporting national minorities. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Mayor Maria Klaman and Adam Spyra, Director of the Department for Foreigners at the Małopolska Provincial Office.

The Consulate General of Georgia in Kraków is the newest diplomatic mission established in our city. Consul General Ioseb Khakhaleishvili began his mission in February 2025.

On 16 June 2025, Mayor Aleksander Miszalski met with Philippe Froissard, European Commission's Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG Research & Innovation), to discuss the challenges and commitments arising from the Climate City Contract signed by Kraków in September 2024.

Kuwait, situated between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, is one of the world’s most important oil producers. On 10 June 2025 Mayor of Kraków Aleksander Miszalski met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Poland, His Excellency Saad Abdulaziz Mohammad Al-Mehaini, to seek economic cooperation opportunities.

Mayor of Kraków Aleksander Miszalski and Amirsait Agzamkhodjaev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland discussed the possibilities for cooperation between Kraków and Uzbekistan during the ambassador's visit on 10 March 2025.

Mayor of Kraków, Aleksander Miszalski, discussed opportunities for cooperation between Kraków and Thailand with the Ambassador of Thailand to Poland, Urasa Mongkolnavin. The Ambassador paid her first official visit to the Kraków City Hall on Thursday, February 27.

On 10 December, Mayor Aleksander Miszalski received a visit from Rachel Launey, Director of the British Council Poland, and Alicja Grymek, Head Education British Council Poland, who leads the Kraków branch.

On 31 January 2025 Vice President of the European Parliament Younous Omarjee visited the Kraków City Hall. During the meeting with Mayor Aleksander Miszalski he raised issues of cohesion policy among other things.

On 27 January, King Charles III paid a visit to Kraków meeting representatives of the Jewish Community Centre and Mayor Aleksander Miszalski. His Majesty also found some time to talk local residents.
