The Entrepreneur Service Point (POP), i.e. the Krakow “one-stop Point”, has been helping and supporting entrepreneurs for nearly 17 years.

Does counteracting climate change work for or against heritage? What is community archaeology? How to practice responsibility for heritage while minimising the negative effects of its exploitation? Can the answer be offered by sustainable tourism? The 6th Heritage Forum of Central Europe (June 16-18, 2021) took a closer look at the mutual relations between cultural heritage and broadly understood development.

The unique heritage, the cultural offer of the summer season, the urban greenery, the countless legends or the local cuisine - the tourist values of the capital of Małopolska are presented by the nationwide promotional campaign "And what do YOU see in Kraków?". The project prepared by the Municipality of Kraków in cooperation with the Małopolska Tourist Organisation was launched on 1st June 2021 and will continue until 30th September 2021.

On May 29-31, 2021, the first edition of the International Chamber Music Competition - "KraCamera 2021" took place in Krakow. The competition was organized by the "W Świecie Muzyki" Foundation, based in Krakow. The competition was international in scope and was intended for students of 1st and 2nd degree music schools and students of music academies under 30 years of age.

At the Entrepreneur Service Point (POP) at ul. Wielicka 28a in Krakow, a new advisory position for foreigners has been created!

The variety of Kraków’s cultural offer presented by several hundred small and large cultural centres, over 100 museum branches and dozens of festivals is a powerful development resource, even for a city deeply affected by the Covid-19 crisis. Rebuilding inbound tourism will also be possible through closer cooperation between the cultural and tourism sectors. We present a set of tools to support the integration of Kraków’s marketing communication, cultural promotion and cultural diplomacy.

A session of representatives of the City Directors of International Affairs Network (CDIA) of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) was held on 22 April 2021.

Following the initiative of the Honorary Consul of Croatia in Kraków Mr. Paweł Włodarczyk, the Kraków Bagry Lake has gained an international spot, the so-called Little Croatia. On 13 April 2021 an agreement on further co-operation in the implementation of a joint project of Kraków and Croatia was signed at the office of the Mayor of Kraków.

The number of official diplomatic missions operating in our city has increased to 38! On 7 April 2021 Ms. Joanna Natasza Wais was granted ministerial exequatur and has since been officially acting as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia in Kraków.

The spring is in full swing and nature is slowly coming back to life. Nothing is as strongly associated with nature as ecology! On the eve of the world-wide eco-action Earth Hour, which Krakow will traditionally join, we would like to focus on the initiatives and projects which our partner cities are implementing to protect the environment.
