National Day of Bulgaria
Day of Liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Dominion is celebrated on 3 March.
It commemorates the re-establishment of a Bulgarian statehood after the negotiations that led to Treaty of San Stefano, ending 1878 Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878), signed on 3 March.
