Daniel Carlin becomes the Ambassador of Krakow Film Music Festival

On Saturday May 28th 2016, Mayor Jacek Majchrowski awarded the title od FMF Ambassador to Professor Daniel Carlin, excellent composer, producer and academic teacher. The prestigious FMF Ambassador Award was established 3 years ago. Among its winners are those who build industry connections and the brand of the Film Music Festival.

The laureates bring Krakow closer to the international world of music and film, guiding the Festival towards ambitious goals.

On presenting the award, Mayor Majchrowski thanked Professor Carlin for his long-standing cooperation with Festival organizers. Daniel Carlin has already chaired the jury of the FMF Young Talent Award three times. He is always eager to share his rich experience with young artists, for whom he is a true role model.

Film Music Festival took place in Krakow on May 24-30th 2016 for the 9th time. The Festival, organised by the Krakow Festival Office and RMF Classic, is a captivating showcase of the highest quality musical interpretations of the moving image and one of the most important festivals in the world of film music. FMF is an important industry event, recognized and appreciated by many excellent artists. Hans Zimmer, performing a couple of weeks earlier in Krakow, welcomed his audience saying: "Krakovians, you have the best film music festival in the world!".
