National Day of Bulgaria
Bulgarians celebrate their National Day on 3 March.
It commemorates the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Dominion that was possible after the negotiations that led to Treaty of San Stefano, ending 1878 Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878), signed on 3 March.
