National Day of Denmark
On 5 June the Kingdom of Denmark celebrates Constitution Day. It marks the signing of Danish Constitution in 1849 and establishing the constitutional monarchy and the bicameral parliament.
For citizens of Denmark the Constitution Day is an opportunity to relax and spend time with their families and friends. The most important event on the National Day is the speech delivered by Her Majesty Queen Margaret II.
