XVI Diplomatic Festival: Diplomacy of Resilience
The International Relations Students' Association of Jagiellonian University invites to the XVI edition of the Diplomatic Festival under the theme "Diplomacy of Resilience", which will take place on May 13-15, 2025, at the Faculty of International and Political Studies, Władysława Reymonta 4, Krakow.

This year's edition will bring together distinguished experts, academics, and students from Poland and abroad, creating a unique platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on contemporary diplomatic challenges in the context of building state and societal resilience to international crises.

Event Program:
The festival is divided into three intensive days filled with expert lectures, discussion panels, and open debates:
Day I (May 13, 2025) - Conference inauguration with university authorities, inaugural lecture by Ambassador Krzysztof Płomiński, expert panels on European defense and EU economic diplomacy in the era of energy transformation.
Day II (May 14, 2025) - Panels dedicated to Eastern policy and security, with special focus on hybrid threats, expert lecture by Prof. Marvin Kalb from Harvard University, and discussions on global challenges.
Day III (May 15, 2025) - Topics covering the Middle East and religion, historical relations, cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, and technological diplomacy, concluding with a lecture by Prof. Chung-in Moon on democracy and diplomatic resilience.
Among the invited speakers are distinguished experts, including Prof. Jerzy Zdrada, Prof. Marvin Kalb (Harvard University), Prof. Chung-in Moon, Prof. Andrzej Bonusiak (University of Rzeszów), Rose Gottemoeller (Stanford University), and Małgorzata Śladnicka (Harvard University).
The Diplomatic Festival, organized annually since 2010, represents a unique combination of academic reflection and practical approaches to contemporary diplomatic challenges. The event is addressed to students, academics, experts, diplomats, and all those interested in international relations.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The event will be held in person, with the possibility of remote presentations.
