W trakcie walk o panowanie na Rusi Halickiej musiała uciekać przed najazdem księcia Mścisława i w 1219 r. trafiła wraz z mężem do niewoli ruskiej. Jednak już od 1226 r. małżonkowie wspólnie zarządzali Dalmacją, Kroacją, Slawonią. Księżna była uwielbiana przez lud. Koloman zginął w 1241 r. podczas najazdu Tatarów. Wdowa powróciła do Polski i w 1245 r. założyła habit klaryski. Sprowadziła zakonnice do Doliny Prądnika i ufundowała im klasztor, w którym działają po dzień dzisiejszy. Rozwijając gospodarczo majątki klasztorne, doprowadziła do lokacji miasta Skała na prawie niemieckim. Zmarła w 1269 r. w Skale. Beatyfikowana w 1673 r. Jej relikwie spoczywają w kościele franciszkanów.

Princess of the Piast dynasty, Duchess of Halych. She was born around 1211 in Krakow, daughter of Leszek the White and Grzymisława. Thanks to her mother, she was already renowned for her piety as a child and took a vow of chastity as a 12-year-old. In accordance with her father's wishes, she married the Hungarian prince Koloman, ruler of Halych. Together with her spouse, she founded new monasteries and endowed existing ones. During the struggle for the rule of Halych Rus, she had to flee from the invasion of Prince Mstislav and in 1219 she and her husband were taken captive by the Rus. However, from as early as 1226, the couple jointly governed Dalmatia, Croatia and Slavonia. The Duchess was adored by the people. Koloman was killed in 1241 during a Tartar invasion. The widow returned to Poland and in 1245 founded the Poor Clares habit. She brought the nuns to the Prądnik Valley and founded the convent where they continue to operate to this day. Economically developing the monastery estates, she led to the incorporation of the town of Skała under German law. She died in 1269 in Skała.
