Czerwony Smok The Red Dragon

Nie wszystkie smoki mieszkają w jaskiniach. Czerwony Smok pojawił się na przecięciu najważniejszych tras w Krakowie, tuż przy rondzie Mogilskim, w hotelu Radisson RED.

Niegdyś Czerwony Smok spoglądał na miasto ze szczytu ozdobionego na złoto Unity Tower, ponad 100-metrowego budynku wznoszącego się nad rondem Mogilskim. Mieszkańcy Krakowa pamiętają, że na jego miejscu stał przez wiele lat słynny „Szkieletor”. Dziś, gdy „Szkieletor” odszedł w niepamięć, a na pobliskim rondzie Mogilskim znalazł się Smok Żołnierz CK, pełniący wartę przy pozostałościach bastionu V „Lubicz”, Czerwony Smok postanowił przybliżyć się do smoczej rodziny i zejść na ziemię.

Łuski Czerwonego Smoka mienią się hipnotyzującą czerwienią. Nasz smok nie warczy, nie zieje ogniem, nie próbuje gryźć, gdy się go dotknie. Chodzą jednak słuchy, że każdemu kto spojrzy w smocze oczy przybędzie odwagi i energii do działania. Na przykład, by stać się turystą w swoim mieście. Pobliskie rondo Mogilskie to przecież świetny punkt wypadowy: wystarczy wsiąść w tramwaj lub autobus i ruszyć w podróż po Krakowie!

Czerwonego Smoka cieszy jego sąsiedztwo. Uśmiecha się na myśl o czerwonej, jak on fasadzie Opery Krakowskiej. Lubi patrzeć na spieszących się na zajęcia studentów Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego, a jego smocza dusza rozkwita razem z magnoliami Ogrodu Botanicznego. Not all dragons live in caves. The Red Dragon appeared at the intersection of the most important routes in Krakow, just off the Mogilskie roundabout, at the Radisson RED Hotel.

The Red Dragon once looked down on the city from the top of the gold-decorated Unity Tower, a 100-metre-plus building rising above the Mogilskie roundabout. Residents of Krakow remember that the famous 'Skeletor' (as the unfinished building was informally known) stood on its site for many years. Today, with the 'Skeletor' gone and the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Soldier Dragon on the nearby Mogilskie roundabout keeping guard at the remains of Bastion V 'Lubicz', the Red Dragon has decided to get closer to the dragon family and come down to earth.

The scales of the Red Dragon shimmer a mesmerising red. Our dragon does not growl, breathe fire or try to bite when touched. Rumour has it, however, that anyone who looks into the dragon's eyes will gain courage and energy for action. For example, to become a tourist in this city. After all, the nearby Mogilskie roundabout is a great starting point: just take a tram or bus and set off on your journey around Krakow!

The Red Dragon is pleased with its vicinity. It smiles at the thought of the façade of the Krakow Opera House, red just like it is.
