Aleksander Miszalski elected new mayor of Kraków
According to data from the National Electoral Commission, Aleksander Miszalski won the second round of the mayoral election with 51.04 percent of the votes. The second candidate, Łukasz Gibała, received 48.96 percent. Overall turnout in Kraków was 45.5 percent.
The first session of the newly elected Kraków City Council will be held on Tuesday, 7 May 2024. During the session, newly elected councilors will take the oath of office. The Chairman and Deputy-Chairman of the Kraków City Council are to be elected from among them. The newly elected mayor of Kraków will also take the oath.
